Do you love dogs and enjoy working in a fast-paced, caring environment? We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dog Kennel Attendant!
๐ Location: Southwest Columbia. MO. (Pierpont/Sapp)
โฐ Hours: Flexible schedule, but we are seeking someone generally available for the following shifts:
Monday-Friday: 8 PM - 9 PM (1-hour shift)
Saturday/Sunday:
7 AM - 9 AM
11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
8 PM - 9 PM
๐ผ Position Type: 1099 Contract
๐ฐ Starting Pay: $13/hour with a performance-based raise after 60 days

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly
๐ Important Note: Due to the shift schedule, living near the kennel is necessary for this position.
What You'll Do:
Provide top-notch care to our furry guests, including feeding, watering, and administering medications if needed
Clean and sanitize kennels and play areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Supervise and engage dogs during playtime
Monitor dogsโ behavior and report any concerns to management
Provide excellent customer service to pet parents
What We're Looking For:
Passion for animals and a patient, gentle demeanor
Reliable with a strong work ethic and flexible availability for the listed shifts
Physically able to manage large breed and high energy dogs
Previous experience with animals is a plus, but not required, weโre happy to train the right person!

This position involves split shifts and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Are you available during these times consistently?
Do you live nearby, and can you reliably commute to the kennel given the shift schedule?
Are you open to working weekends, holidays, and occasional additional shifts if needed?
Would you consider additional hours/full-time hours if they were available?
If we are fully staffed, would you be interested in coming on as an alternate/on-call basis?
